Remarks on Fermionic Formula
نویسنده
چکیده
Fermionic formulae originate in the Bethe ansatz in solvable lattice models. They are specific expressions of some q-polynomials as sums of products of q-binomial coefficients. We consider the fermionic formulae associated with general non-twisted quantum affine algebra Uq(X (1) n ) and discuss several aspects related to representation theories and combinatorics. They include crystal base theory, one dimensional sums, spinon character formulae, Q-system and combinatorial completeness of the string hypothesis for arbitrary Xn.

New fermionic formula for unrestricted Kostka polynomials
A new fermionic formula for the unrestricted Kostka polynomials of type A (1) n−1 is presented. This formula is different from the one given by Hatayama et al. and is valid for all crystal paths based on Kirillov–Reshetihkin modules, not just for the symmetric and anti-symmetric case. The fermionic formula can be interpreted in terms of a new set of unrestricted rigged configurations. For the p...
متن کاملNotes on fermionic Fock space for number theorists
version of my " notebook ". It is a compilation of exercises, worked examples and key references (along with provocative remarks) that I have compiled in order to help myself and (fingers crossed) others learn their way around fermionic Fock space. Eventually (again, fingers crossed) the notebook will become a monograph suitable for use by, say, second year graduate students with an interest in...
متن کاملThe Role of Mass and External Field on the Fermionic Casimir Effect
The aim of this work is to investigate the role played by the fermion mass and that of an external field on the fermionic Casimir energy density under S1×R3 topology. Both twisted and untwisted spin connections are considered and the exact calculation is performed using a somewhat different approach based on the combination of the analytic regularization method through αrepresentation and the E...
متن کاملRemarks on the Spectral Action Principle
The presence of chiral fermions in the physical Hilbert space implies consistency conditions on the spectral action. These conditions are equivalent to the absence of gauge and gravitational anomalies. Suggestions for the fermionic part of the spectral action are made based on the supersymmetrisation of the bosonic part.
متن کاملFusion Products of Kirillov-reshetikhin Modules and Fermionic Multiplicity Formulas
We give a complete description of the graded multiplicity space which appears in the Feigin-Loktev fusion product [FL99] of graded Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules for all simple Lie algebras. This construction is used to obtain an upper bound formula for the fusion coefficients in these cases. The formula generalizes the case of g = Ar [AKS06], where the multiplicities are generalized Kostka polyn...
